My top 1 ♥ ♥ Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ♥ ♥

This is without a doubt my favorite Indian DVD. It's got the most enjoyable story you could ever watch on film. This is a story about Rahul and Anjali, a boy and a girl who were best of friends back in college. This movie opens with a woman named Tina who is dying from a complicated birth. She asks her husband Rahul, while before she dies, to name their new daughter Anjali, and she also gives the grandmother 8 letters that she wrote to give to the newborn daughter, one letter for each year of the daughter's birthday. It is on Anjali's eighth birthday that she received the eighth letter written by her long gone dead mother. In this eighth letter, Anjali's mother Tina explained how she came into her father's life back in college and they fell in love. This love complicated a friendship between her father Rahul, and his best friend at college, a tomboy girl named Anjali.
So Anjali left the college so that Tina and Rahul could be together. What little Anjali's mother wants her daughter to do is find the first Anjali and bring her back together with her father so that he will find happiness once again with his original best friend from college. This movie is a roller coaster of emotions.
You will laugh and you will cry. In fact, you will probably cry twice within the first 15 minutes, but yet, you will laugh and be so engrossed into this film that you will wish you were there. It would be nice if this film had about 4 less songs because it does get a bit too musical sometimes, but the song videos do all look really colorful and classy. This movie stars Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee. You will love all three of these Indian stars right away

MY top 2 ♪ ♪ Kal Ho Naa Ho ♪ ♪

Kal Ho Naa Ho is the story of three friends whose relationship is based on unconditional love and emotional empathy with each other.
The setting is New York in present times. Life is quite brooding for Naina Catherine Kapur (Preity Zinta). The cause of her sombre lifestyle is a family tragedy that shook her world and took her happiness away.
Her humdrum daily routine includes her chores in her half Punjabi-half Catholic household in which she has to deal with a short tempered grand-mother, has to look after her little sister and brother besides helping her mother Jennifer [Jaya Bachchan] deal with the family's financial troubles. In short, life could not be drabber for this gorgeous belle.
But things change with the coming of Aman Mathur [Shah Rukh Khan] into the tiny Indian neighborhood where she lives.

Aman is an extrovert person who gets friendly with almost everybody and begins to win everybody’s heart with his jolly nature. When he sees the sadness in a young and beautiful girl like Naina, he sets about to bring happiness into her life.
For this he also gets help from his good friend Rohit [Saif Ali Khan], an eligible Manhattan bachelor.

After few initial failures, the two manage to bring Naina out of her dull and gloomy moods and make her genuinely happy. The three become very good friends and every thing is hunky-dory.
But this happiness is short-lived when it turns out that one of them suffers from a deadly disease.

Okay I will not give a summary of the film. Enough of that already. Straight to the point: Kal Ho Naa Ho is a fantastic film....definitely worth seeing, and worth seeing over again.
Shah Rukh Khan does a great job...as usual. I guess nobody else does emotional scenes AND comedy as well as he does.

Preity Zinta looks stunning throughout the movie and delivers a great performance. Saif too stands in equal stead and proves his salt as an actor.

My top 3 ∆ ∆ Mohhabatein ∆ ∆

One of the best Shahrukh Khan movies I must say. I am not a Shahrukh fan but this has to be one of his best performances.

Back to the movie, Shahrukh plays a music teacher, whose appointment is much to the displeasure of the principal of the school. Little does he know that he is the former lover of his daughter who committed suicide since she couldn't be with him. Her death drove her father to sheer rage that he drove her young lover a student of his own school, and stopped his education altogether, by refusing him admission in all of the contemporary schools.

Years later driven by his own passion and fuel, the young man returns to his old school determined to undo the wrongs that caused him so much misery and suffering. He learns of 3 such youngsters who had fallen in love to 3 different girls. He encourages them and gives them ideas of winning the girls' favours. This infuriates the principal and he stops all of them and even threatens to throw them out much like the fate of their music teacher. In the end this teacher reveals his true identity in front of the man who could have been his father in law. Suffering from grief and sorrow the principal breaks down and in the end love rules over discipline.

One of the best family movies for a long time, with plenty of comedy and emotion. I recommend you getting a DVD and watch it right now.....

My top 4 ♀ ♀ Krrish ♀ ♀

Well for to be sincere the top 4 is for my boyfriend, he told me that I have to put this at the number one but I can't do it!
But don't worry this a good movie to specially for him =X

KRRISH is essentially three movies rolled into one: It starts off as a love story, changes gears and becomes a traditional superhero story and in the pre-climax, it's the clash between good versus evil. While the first part seems like any other love story, it has it's moments. Note Hrithik's introduction and also, Hrithik saving Priyanka from an accident [their first meeting] and you know that there's more to the film than a saccharine-sweet love story.

The special effects are incredible. In fact, the special effects are a pillar of this movie, according to my boyfriend :S

My Top 5 ╪ ╪ Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai ╪ ╪

The film has everything, romance, action, and, most importantly, a bit of suspense. Struggling singer Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) and rich brat Sonia (Amisha Patel) fall in love through a variety of interesting situations (Even getting stranded on an island), much to the dismay of Saxena (Anupam Kher), Sonia's pampering father.
Trouble ensues when Rohit witnesses corrupt police officers (Ashish Vidyarthi and Mohnish Behl) murder the police commissioner after he finds out about their illegal drug syndicate. The villains kill Rohit, much to the dismay of Sonia, who is left alone with cruel memories of her love. Heartbroken, she goes to New Zealand where she meets a young man named Raj (Hrithik again), who looks remarkably like our dead hero Rohit (Wow, who'd have thought?). The new twosome return to India only to have the villains assume that Raj is Rohit and chase after him. The rest of the film (This is where the suspense comes in...) focuses on who Raj really is and why he looks so much like Rohit. If you think you'll see the same, tired, twin-brothers-separated-at-birth story, think again.

Rajesh Roshan's music sounded great to me on the soundtrack, but watching the songs on breathless locations such as Greece, Fiji Islands, New Zealand, and a cruise ship made them even better. Lucky Ali's two numbers are great, and the title track is very catchy.

My Top 6 ‡ ‡ Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna ‡ ‡

I just finished watching Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. I found it so meaningful. Its about two marriages. One, an arranged and loveless marriage and the other a marriage that failed because of lack of communication. The movie contained elements ranging from laughter, suspense, sadness, happiness to anger and disappointment. It's really fantastic.
Dev(Shah Rukh) must be stupid. With a wife as beautiful as Rhea(Preity Zinta), how can he not love her? How can he not talk to her? How could he cheat on her? Oh so sad.

Ok enough comments bout the plot. Now i want to mention the other characters in the movie. Maya (Rani Mukherjee) is the woman that Dev had an affair with. Maya is the wife of Rishi(Abhishek Bachchan). I absolutely loved her acting in this movie. She played her character so well. Though many would love to hate her, but remember she's just doing her job. And oh her voice. Some find it irritating, but i loved it. XD. Abhishek's acting not bad, i think he did quite a good job. I was a bit disappointed with Shah Rukh's acting. Maybe it's the character. I don't know. I reserve my judgment. Amitabh Bachchan who played the part of Rishi's father, Samarjit did very well. That's to be expected from the revered and respected Amitabh. As for Preity, she did quite well too. She's absolutely gorgeous in movie.

The movie's songs are wonderful, i love them =P

That's all for now. I have to sleep. Next movie is my Top 5 ^^!!

My Top 7 ♂♂ "Hamesha" ♂♂

Hameshaa, inspired by true story which took place in England, is by far, the most technically perfect film in Bollywood's history. The music, the filters, the dolby sound... The only film that comes close to the technical efforts put forward in this film are really amazing. And the film's background score is the best I've heard in any bollywood film so far. Hameshaa has in the cast Kajol (my favorite Hindi actress) and Saif Ali Khan who was a perfect couple for Kajol . And most original.
Look some scenes : ^^

I only could said that you have to see this movie is really romantic and has unimaginable scenes

Ammmm well if you don't have money for buying a DVD you can watch the movie at this page =P
